Opportunity – We are fortunate to have such an excellent orchestra.

Respect – Respect for the conductor, fellow musicians, coaches, instruments, music and facilities.

Concentration – Learning to perform in an orchestra requires the highest form of concentration.

Honesty – It is the best policy! Always tell the truth, and be honest.

Effort – Practicing and performing music requires constant effort and dedication.

Self-discipline – You must discipline yourself to practice and listen carefully.

Trust – In orchestra we do things that others don’t; we also go places that others don’t. Can I trust you to act maturely and responsibly?

Responsibility – You are responsible for being prepared for practice and always knowing your part.

Accountability – You will be held accountable for your work ethic, attitude, participation and to higher standards.
